Description

There is no limit to the design possibilities using colour-coated glass. Every day architects and interior designers are coming up with new ideas for utilising this stylish and practical coloured glass product. The smooth clean lines create a stylish and modern look, giving any kitchen or bathroom that WOW factor. Glass is cut to shape the contours of fitted units, electrical points and tap fittings, with an option of glass shelves invisibly bonded onto splashbacks which look great, whilst creating extra storage space. The glass is toughened insuring resistant to heat and impact for added safety; un-toughened glass products are prone to venting/cracking behind cookers/hobs and across socket cut-outs. Therefore, unsuitable for use in these situations.
The colours  are achieved by the application of a coating to the back of the glass which is specially formulated to permanently bond to glass  so will never peel or fade due to heat or moisture and with thousands of colours available throughout the RAL and DULUX range options are endless. Colour-coated glass is totally non-transparent so no defects on the wall can be seen.
Diamant glass is the most optically clear glass available. It is especially suitable for light coloured paints to minimize colour variation, whereas standard clear float glass has a green tint, limiting its suitability to darker coloured paints.
