Unistone Worktops

Unistone worktops have become increasingly popular both for use within the home and commercial buildings thanks to its hard-wearing nature. A compound of around 90% quartz, Unistone is the product of famous Breton technology providing reliability with the upmost style.

Unistone’s extremely hard and resistant properties make it ideal for use around the kitchen, but this isn’t the only place you can utilise this popular compound. Here are just a few examples of applications where Unistone quartz makes the perfect fit:

  • Bathroom countertops
  • Wall cladding
  • Internal flooring
  • Kitchen islands
  • Kitchen worktops
  • Table tops
  • Desks
  • Window sills

Unistone worktops are available in over 30 diverse colour combinations with various different textures also on offer. One reason why Unistone is so popular is down to its versatility, as the variety of options ensure you can create something unique and effective no matter what your application. You can even choose from three finishes including:

  • Polished – for a glossy aesthetic
  • Velluto – for a velvet-like appearance that is matte without losing its glossy sheen
  • Letano – gently brushed finish which brings out the colour of the natural stone

Thanks to the high level of variety, Unistone is appropriate for both traditional and modern kitchen designs and interiors.

Unistone quartz worktops for your kitchen

Unistone quartz is one of the most readily used materials for kitchen countertops for many reasons, none more important than its resilient qualities. The surface of the material is anti-bacterial, therefore your Unistone worktop will not stimulate bacterial growth. Unistone worktops also have a non-porous quality, allowing them to resist stains produced by vinegar, wine, and stronger substances.

How to take care of your Unistone worktops

Although the Unistone compound is incredibly resilient to scratches, stains and smudges – it does require a certain level of care to keep it looking as good as new. As the Unistone quartz worktops are made of aggregate-grains and resin, it is of vital importance to ensure your Unistone worktops are not exposed to solvents; and should be treated with as much care as a granite worktop.

To clean your Unistone worktop, use a simple solution of warm water with a few drops of surface cleaner, being sure to use a soft cloth to wipe down.
